Lawyer | Corporate Energy

This is an international practice with a footprint spanning six continents.  The Corporate team in Sydney has a need for a junior or mid-level lawyer to work under three partners, including a practice leader, with particular emphasis on the Energy sector – offer access to unparalleled mentorship and a front-row seat to complex and meaningful work.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of corporate law and the energy transition. You will be helping clients navigate the legal complexities of the new economy, moving beyond routine matters to provide strategic advisory on high-stakes, cross-border transactions.  Your work will include advising on project advisory and M&A within the renewables and utilities sectors, assisting with cross-border M&A, corporate restructures, and financing arrangements.

The firm is looking for a lawyer who is technically strong, commercially astute, and ready to take on the responsibility that comes with working in a high-performance, international environment.  They are keen to see junior to Mid-Level Lawyer (approx. 2–5 years PQE) with a strong foundation in corporate law, who aren’t afraid to stick in and do the work.
